Shawn Daudlin
Shawn Daudlin has accumulated 30 years of experience in theatre administration. Shawn was a contributing member of the Buddies in Bad Times Theatre team for over 20 years. As Managing Director, Shawn’s over sight and financial planning was instrumental in assisting with the retiring of the accumulated deficit. As a result, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre’s financial position was strong during his tenure, benefitting from several years of season surpluses. Shawn is proud to have completed two-three year terms as a board member for the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA). Drawing on his experience with the Buddies community, he was honoured to advise during the very important process of transforming the Dora Awards to be fully gender neutral, a first in Canada for professional theatre awards. Shawn is a graduate of the Sheridan College Music Theatre - Performance program in Oakville, Ontario. He has also released two self-titled recordings of original songs, as well as written and co-produced for various independent music artists, one of which was nominated for Best Adult Contemporary Album at the Toronto Independent Music Awards (Michael Hughes).
