With a maximum enrolment of 20 children aged 6-12, Roseneath Theatre’s week-long, full day camps are led by our professional artist educator, guest artists and supported by youth counsellors who have been trained through Roseneath’s Youth Leadership Program.
An active and engaging week of creativity and fun for kids who have a keen interest in the performing arts. The week will involve collectively creating a theatrical presentation for family and friends, which will be presented at the end of the Friday camp day. Campers will work together with our Artist Educator to choose themes and content that they are excited by. The campers will participate in learning about all aspects of theatre creation and production and will have the opportunity to explore areas of greatest interest more fully. In addition to acting, writing, musical theatre, (including dance and vocals) and improvisation, campers will have the opportunity to make their own costumes, props and set pieces, with mentorship from our Guest Artists and Staff. There will be daily outings to local parks and splash pads, as well as a visit to witness a rehearsal of our new play “Birds of a Feather.”
