Dib & Dob

Dib & Dob and The Journey Home is a comic adventure about two brothers who find themselves lost in the woods as they attempt to overcome obstacles and differences in order to find ‘home’.

Dib and Dob are two brothers who are always arguing. Dib is bossy and controlling, Dob is mischievous and impulsive. After one of their arguments, they find themselves lost in the woods and are forced to camp overnight at the foot of a large, mysterious tree. Little do they know that the tree is inhabited by a huge monster. It takes their encounter with this monster to resolve their personal differences, rediscover their brotherly love and come to a better understanding of each other.

In 1999 Roseneath’s production of Dib & Dob and The Journey Home won both the Chalmers Canadian Play Award and the Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding Production (TYA).
